J.A. ter Maten B.V. was founded in Bunschoten-Spakenburg by Mr. J.A. ter Maten in 1978. Since then
it has developed itself into a producer of high-quality poultry products for further industrial processing,
meant for fast-food and supermarket industries, as for pet food producers. J.A ter Maten is specialized in the producing of
meat (MDM, Mechanicilly Deboned Meat) and "Baader" or 3MM meat.
Apart from the Western European market, ter Maten focused on the eastern European regions. Especially Russia,
but also countries like Poland, White-Russia, Ukraine, Moldavia, Uzbekistan and the Balkans, like
Bosnia-Herzegovina and Romania, belong to the area of distribution of ter Maten. Next to that export takes
place to Middle-America and the Far East.J.A. ter Maten B.V. has its own factories, cooling and freezing systems and transport facilities, which are all fitted following the latest European regulations. As an independent producer ter Maten focuses on quality and flexibility, product specifications and logistic organisation.
